a) Occupations: Bauer (Farmer) und Richter (Judge) in Sontheim [Kastlerhof]n nHans was a window when he married Elisabetha Nusser. Siegfried Kastler researched Hans and found that he was 72 years old when he died in 1692. After searching church records in Asselfingen, an entry in the church books for Hans Kastler was found with a birthdate of February 5th, 1620, with parents Michael Kastler and Elisabetha Veith. With this information, we can deduce that the two Hans' are one in the same. Another interesting note is that other child of Michael Kastler and Elisabetha Veith, Michael, died in Brenz, which is next to Sontheim.
